Three Innovative Environmental Protection Technologies of AMS and Shuifa Umemtech Honored as Annual "China's Good Technologies"

  Recently, the China Association of Productivity Promotion Centers officially announced the evaluation results of the 2024 "China's Good Technologies" projects. Among them, the "Coking Desulfurization Waste Liquid Recovery and Refined Salt Technology" and "Full Membrane Method Three-Wash Water (wastewater generated from the three-stage washing process) Filtration and Recovery Technology" independently developed by Shandong AMS Environmental Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "AMS "), a subsidiary of Shuifa Hi-Tech Group, and the "Advanced Wastewater Nitrogen Removal MOBR Technology and Equipment" developed by its subsidiary Shandong Shuifa Umemtech Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Shuifa Umemtech"), successfully stood out due to their outstanding performance in innovation, practicality and promotability. This selection marks that AMS has obtained national-level authoritative recognition in the field of environmental protection technology research and development and achievement transformation, demonstrating its leading technological position in the industry. The selection of "China's Good Technologies" is a highly credible technology achievement promotion activity in China, with the core goal of discovering and promoting advanced scientific and technological achievements that are in line with industrial needs and have large-scale application value. The selection process requires strict technical review by experts of the review committee and comprehensive evaluation by the management committee, with comprehensive consideration from multiple dimensions such as technological innovation, practical application effects and market promotion prospects. It is reported that a total of 489 technological achievements across the country were selected into "China's Good Technologies" in 2024. The selected projects can obtain diversified services such as domestic and foreign technology promotion, special support for scientific and technological achievement transformation, and financial investment connection. At the same time, they will be prioritized for recommendation to key project plans of relevant national ministries and commissions. The successful breakthrough of the three technologies of AMS and Shuifa Umemtech is not only a high recognition of the enterprises' technological strength, but also lays a solid foundation for the industrialization and promotion of the technologies.

 

AMS: Focusing on Industrial Environmental Protection and Promoting "Turning Waste into Treasure" 

As an innovative enterprise in the field of industrial environmental protection, the two technologies selected by AMS this time both focus on industrial wastewater treatment and resource recovery, providing solutions for the green and circular development of the industry. Aiming at the industry pain points of high difficulty in treating desulfurization waste liquid and low resource utilization rate in the coking industry, AMS has innovatively developed the cavitation oxidation core technology and supporting processes for the "Coking Desulfurization Waste Liquid Recovery and Refined Salt Technology". After treatment by this technology, the purity of thiocyanate, a by-product of desulfurization waste liquid, can reach more than 99%, and the purity of sulfate can reach 98.3% – both meeting the industrial premium product standards. This truly realizes "turning waste into treasure" and solves the dual problems of waste liquid treatment and resource recovery in the coking industry. At present, this technology has passed the technical certification of Shandong Association of Science and Technology Consulting and has been rated at the "domestic leading level". Meanwhile, AMS won the title of "Excellent Enterprise in Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Field of Shandong Division in the 11th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition" by virtue of this technology. The technology has achieved remarkable industrialization demonstration effects and has been applied in a number of coking enterprises. Facing the development bottlenecks of high water consumption and high emissions in the titanium dioxide industry, the "Full Membrane Method Three-Wash Water Filtration and Recovery Technology" realizes the dual recovery of "water-titanium dioxide" in the titanium dioxide production process – it not only recovers production water for recycling, but also recovers titanium dioxide particles in water to improve raw material utilization. Verified by practical application, this technology can make the system operation power saving rate as high as 40%, significantly reducing enterprises' energy consumption costs. Up to now, this technology has been successfully applied in key projects such as Xuzhou Titanium Dioxide and Neimenggu Guocheng, transforming the traditional "high-cost environmental protection governance" model into a "positive profit-making environmental protection project" and bringing significant resource conservation benefits and environmental protection benefits to enterprises. In addition, this technology has also been included in the "Catalogue of National Encouraged Industrial Water-Saving Processes, Technologies and Equipment (2023)", and helped AMS Environment win the title of "Winning Enterprise of Shandong Division in the 13th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition", successfully advancing to the national competition.

 

 Shuifa Umemtech: Breaking Through Technical Bottlenecks and Building a New Paradigm for Wastewater Nitrogen Removal

The "Advanced Wastewater Nitrogen Removal MOBR Technology and Equipment" selected by Shuifa Umemtech this time focuses on the traditional pain points of "difficult advanced nitrogen removal and high energy consumption cost" in the wastewater treatment field, and reshapes the advanced wastewater treatment standards through technological innovation. This technology innovatively proposes the MOBR (Membrane Aerated Biofilm Reactor) coupled with autotrophic advanced nitrogen removal process for wastewater, integrating the functions of membrane aeration, membrane bioreaction and sludge-water separation. It constructs an OAO (Anoxic-Aerobic-Anoxic) microenvironment inside the reactor to realize the simultaneous and efficient progress of nitrification and denitrification reactions. From the perspective of core parameters, the total nitrogen removal rate of this technology exceeds 95%, and the COD removal rate reaches more than 98%. At the same time, it significantly reduces the energy consumption and operation cost in the wastewater treatment process. At present, this technology has completed application verification in the Pingyin Water Affairs demonstration project. Its core advantages of "small floor area and strong adaptability" can accurately meet the in-situ upgrading and reconstruction needs of municipal sewage treatment plants, and is also applicable to high-difficulty industrial wastewater treatment scenarios – providing flexible and efficient technical solutions for different types of wastewater treatment projects.
